Fire breaks out in Gulistan

The second floor of a building on Nababpur Road of Gulistan in the capital caught fire early on Monday.

At around 1:50am, the fire broke out on the Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited branch in the building. On information, five units of the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) reached the spot and doused the fire at around 2:10am.

Confirming the matter, FSCD Duty Officer Rashed bin Khalid said the origin of the fire and the extent of casualties could not be ascertained at the moment.
