MBBS admission test to be held on Friday

The MBBS admission test of both public and private medical colleges for the academic year of 2023-24 will be held on Friday.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Professor Dr Samanta Lal Sen said this at a press conference at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (SHNIBPS) in the city on Thursday.

The test will take place in 44 venues of 19 centres from 10am to 11am across the country, he said.

The total seats of public medical colleges are 5,380 while 6,295 seats are in private medical colleges.

A total of 104,374 students will sit for the exam. 

No contestant will be allowed to enter the hall after 9:30am, he added.
