Rain likely in 3 divisions

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted rain or drizzle in a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Mymensingh divisions.

"The weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country. Light to moderate fog may occur over the country during early morning," according to a BMD weather bulletin issued Wednesday.

Night temperature may rise by (1-2) degrees Celsius over the country. Day temperature may fall by (1-2) degrees Celsius over the Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.

The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 31.0 degrees Celsius jointly in Sitakunda, Cox's Bazar and Khepupara, while Wednesday's minimum temperature was recorded at 11.2 degrees Celsius in Tetulia.

The sun sets at 5:53pm on Wednesday and rises at 6:32am on Thursday in the capital.
