Process to return 330 Myanmar nationals begin

A total of 330 Myanmar nationals, including members of the Border Guard Police (BGP) soldiers who took refuge in Bangladesh, are being sent back to their homeland on Thursday (February 15).

The process to send them back has already started, and the 330 Myanmar nationals were taken to Inani Navy Jetty in Cox's Bazar at around 7:30am. From here, they will board the Karnaphuli Express Ship and be taken to the deep sea, where a Myanmar Ship is waiting. They will board the ship and go back to their homeland.

Confirming the matter, Shariful Islam, public relations officer (PRO) at Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) headquarters, said a brief meeting will be held between the two countries and the Myanmar nationals will be sent off.
