All 330 Myanmar nationals leave Bangladesh

A total of 330 Myanmar nationals, including members of the Border Guard Police (BGP) soldiers who took refuge in Bangladesh, were returned to their homeland on Thursday.

The Myanmar nationals were first taken to Inani Navy Jetty in Cox's Bazar at around 7:30am. From here, they boarded the Karnaphuli Express Ship at around 11am and were taken to the deep sea, where a Myanmar Ship was waiting. They will board the ship and go back to their homeland.

Director General of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui, Myanmar Ambassador to Bangladesh Aung Kyaw Moe, and other officials from the two countries were present during the procedure.
