Pro-AL White Panel sweeps Dhaka Bar polls

Awami League (AL) backed Sammilito Ainjibi Samannaya Parishad panel to be known as White Panel has won a landslide victory in the Dhaka Bar Association elections.

The panel managed to beg 21 posts out of 23.

Abdur Rahman Hawlader has been elected as the President and Anwar Shahadat Shawon as General Secretary for the session of 2024-25.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Adv Mokhlesur Rahman Badal declared the results late last night.

Some 9,690 members out of total 21,208 cast their votes in the two-day polls that took place on Wednesday and Thursday.
