Fuel price to be revised from current month: Nasrul

The government will adjust fuel price in every month from current month following fuel price in global market, said State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid.

The work of adjustment of fuel price will be implemented upon approval from the prime minister, he said.

Nasrul said that if they could begin price adjustment from current month, fuel price might go down this month on the basis of global market.

He came up with the observation while talking to journalists at the Secretariat on Sunday.

The government's main target is to reduce price of diesel for its usage in different purposes, including transport sector.

According to Nasrul, the transportation sector will be impacted by changes in fuel prices.
