Bangladesh on the way to materialising Bangabandhu's dream: A.K. Azad

Member of Parliament of Faripur-3 (Sadar) constituency A.K. Azad said the country is moving towards the realisation of the dream of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

His daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working tirelessly to realise that dream of making a society free from hunger, poverty and exploitation, he said.

On the occasion of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's 104th birth anniversary and Children's Day, the lawmaker spoke as the chief guest at the discussion meeting organised by district administration at Ambika Maidan in Faridpur city on Sunday. 

A.K. Azad said Bangabandhu has given back the rights of the people of Bengal by enduring prison and oppression. Today, the people of the whole country are inspired by his ideals.

Faridpur Deputy Commissioner Md. Kamrul Ahsan Talukder said some people are born to dream. Bangabandhu has shown dreams not only to the people of Bengal but also to the people of the world, he continued.
