JU Proctor Feroz-ul-Hasan resigns

Jahangirnagar University proctor ASM Feroz-ul-Hasan has resigned from his post in the face of teachers and students' agitation.

An office order signed by University Registrar Abu Hasan made the decision publicon Monday

According to the office order, Mohammad Alamgir Kabir, Professor of Statistics and Data Science Department and Provost of Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Hall, has been given the temporary charge of the new proctor of the university.

In view of the written request of ASM Firoz-ul-Hasan, proctor of the university and associate professor of Government and Politics Department, he has been relieved from the post of proctor by accepting his resignation, it says.

The office order also reads, Professor Mohammad Alamgir Kabir of the Department of Statistics and Data Science of the University has been temporarily appointed as the proctor of the university from today till further order.

Professor Mohammad Alamgir Kabir will enjoy benefits as usual.
