Online sale of advance train tickets for Eid begins Sunday

The sale of all advance train tickets for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr will begin Sunday online.

Passengers can purchase tickets for April 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 starting on March 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30, respectively. 

Every day, 33,500 tickets for intercity trains will be sold. 

Furthermore, standing tickets will be offered for one-fourth of the seats in the non-ac compartment. 

On the other hand, the return ticket sales are expected to begin on April 3. 

Passengers can have a hassle-free experience by buying all of their train tickets online at https://eticket.railway.gov.bd or using the Bangladesh Train mobile app during the holy month of Ramadan. 

Eight pairs of special trains will run this year.
