14 Volvo buses gutted in Demra depot fire

A fire broke out at bus depot in Dharmikpara of Konapara area of Demra in the capital at 8:50 pm on Monday. 

Some 14 volvo buses of London Express parked in the depot were gutted in the fire incident, said Fire Service Control Room Duty Officer Rashid Bin Khalid.

On information, two units of Demra fire station rushed to the spot and were working to control the fire.

Later four more units from Siddikbazar fire station joined the efforts and doused the blaze at 9:48pm.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
