LPG price downed by Tk 3.34 per kg

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (Berc) on Wednesday lowered the price of liquid petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk 3.34 per kg, making it Tk 120.18 per kg now. 

Before, the price per kilogram was Tk 123.52.

This pricing change will go into effect this evening at 6:00 p.m. 

Berc announced during a press conference that the price of a standard 12-kg LPG cylinder would now be Tk 1,442, Tk 40 less than what it was Tk 1,482 previously. 

This modification follows a rational scale across different LPG cylinder sizes, ranging from 5.5kg to 45kg.

Additionally, the price of "auto gas," or LPG used in cars, has dropped from Tk 67.68 to Tk 66.21 per litre. 

LPG prices marketed by the state-owned LP Gas Company will remain unchanged.
