KNF gets weapons from terrorists in neighboring countries: Foreign Minister

Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud said the armed organisation KNF in Chittagong Hill Tracts is carrying out various terrorist activities, including bank robbery, with the cooperation of terrorists from a neighbouring country.

He said this during an exchange of views with journalists at the YNT center in Chittagong city on Saturday afternoon.

The foreign minister said the KNF terrorists are in contact with the nearby terrorists. It is believed that the weapons of those who committed terrorist activities in neighbouring countries have reached them.

He said, “The combined operation has started against the terrorists. The bank manager has already been released. The government is determined to root out their terrorist activities.”
