Schools, colleges to remain closed for 7 days

Educational institutes will remain closed for the next seven days due to the prevailing severe hot weather. Schools and colleges will resume on April 28. 

The prevailing heat wave which is affecting the whole country may continue to get worse. In this situation, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department issued a 3-day heat alert on Friday. 

Considering the situation, the education ministry's Directorate of Secondary & Higher Education has directed educational institutes to open on April 28 instead of April 21.
