CUET closed for indefinite period

After four days of protests following the death of two students in a road accident, the authorities of the Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) has closed it for indefinite period. 

Male students were asked to vacate the halls by 5 pm on Thursday while the female students by 9 am on Friday.

This decision was taken in the 151st emergency meeting of the Academic Council of the university, according to a notice signed by CUET Registrar Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir.
