MV Abdullah crew to return home mid-May

Bangladeshi vessel MV Abdullah, which was hijacked on 12 March by Somali pirates with 23 crew on board, may reach Chattogram by the middle of May. 

KSRM group, the owner of the ship, confirmed that the ship finished unloading coal at the Al-Hamriya Port at Sharjah and headed towards Mina Saqr port in the UAE. After loading goods, the ship may reach Chattogram in the second week of May along with 23 crew. 

MV Abdullah was sailing from Maputo in Mozambique to Al Hamriyah in the UAE with 58,000 tonnes of coal when Somali pirates took control of it. The pirates released the ship and its crews on 14 April after receiving the ransom.
