5 Rohingyas detained with arms from Ukhia

The Armed Police Battalion (APBn) detained five Rohingyas with arms and ammunition from the Ukhia camp in Cox's Bazar early on Sunday. 

They were detained during an APBn drive at the Irani Pahar area of camp no. 4. According to police, all five men are members of a criminal organisation called 'Nobi Bahini.'

The five detained were identified as Mohammad Jobayer (22), Dil Mohammad (35), Mohammad Khalil (34), Mohammad Idris (28), and Mohammadullah (25). 

Confirming the matter, Ukhia 14 APBn head ADIG Mohammad Iqbal said, the police received news of several armed people at a house in D-9 block of Kutupalong-2 West Rohingya camp in Ukhia. The house was surrounded and 10-12 people tried to fell. The police gave chase and detained five of them. 

After searching the detained and the house, police found five guns, two locally made arms, and 18 rounds of ammunition.
