Chuadanga experiences this year's highest temperature of 43 degree Celsius

Chuadanga has experienced the hottest day on Monday.

The temperature in this western district soared to 43 degree Celsius in the afternoon, this year's highest record.

Chuadanga Weather Observatory's senior official Rakibul Hasan said the highest temperature of 43 degree Celsious was recorded at 3:00pm.

On May 21 in 2014, the temperature in Chuadanga was recorded at 43.2 degrees Celsius.

He said prevailing temperature may increase further during the next two days.

Chuadanga Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kisinger Chakma urged the people to follow the heatwave safety tips.
