Public uni teachers go on strike indefinitely

Public university teachers across the country have gone on an indefinite work abstention from Monday (1 July) to press home their demands to the government. 

University teachers under the Federation of Bangladesh University Teachers' Association are observing this move to demand reinstating previous pension facilities in place of the Universal Pension Scheme. As a result of this abstention, these universities will remain closed.
