Poet Makid Haider no more

Renowned 70s poet Makid Haider has passed away. He breathed his last at his own residence in Dhaka's Uttara at around 8:30am on Wednesday. 

Confirming the matter, his son Asif Haider told the Daily Samakal that the poet was suffering from a number of health issues.
