Heavy rain likely in 5 divisions, landslide warning issued

Due to active monsoon, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chattogram in the next 48 hours, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

Meanwhile, landslides due to the rainfall may occur at places in the hilly regions of Chattogram and Sylhet. 

Day and night temperatures may fall by (1-2)°C all over the country, according to the BMD's regular weather bulletin issued Thursday.
