Gas supply to be halted for 8hrs in Dhaka on Tuesday

Gas supply will remain halted for eight hours in some areas of Dhaka on Tuesday, the Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company said. 

According to a Titas release issued Monday, gas supply will be halted for the emergency relocation of gas pipelines from 10am to 6pm on July 16. 

The areas affected by the disruption are areas around Banani DOHS, Shahid Mainul Road, and Swadhinota Sworoni. Some areas in the vicinity may experience low pressure of gas. 

The Titas Gas authority regretted the inconvenience of its customers for the disruption in gas supply.
