Countrywide protest processions on Tuesday

Students demanding quota system reform have called for a countrywide procession programme on Tuesday. 

Anti-discriminatory Student Movement coordinator Nahid Islam made the announcement at a press conference in front of the Dhaka University Curzon Hall on Monday. 

Nahid Islam said, "Outsiders were brought to launch an attack on us. How can outsiders attack us when there's a proctor at our university? The government is trying to stop this movement using violence. We denounce the PM's remarks."

He also called for the countrymen to support the movement. 

Protest processions and rallies will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, he said. Later, they will announce a countrywide strike.
