BRACU-NSU students block roads in the capital

Students demanding the quota system reform and protesting Monday's attack on them blocked roads at the Badda and Basundhara Residential Area on Tuesday morning. 

According to eyewitnesses, students of the BRAC University gathered inside their campus at around 10am. Later, they blocked the road in front of the university at Badda and started a demonstration. 

Meanwhile, students of North South University also blocked the road in front of their university in the Basundhara Residential Area. 

Heavy traffic congestion occurred in both areas as a result of the blockades. 

Police are trying to bring the situation under control at Merul Badda.
