Authorities declare closure of primary schools in city corporations

The government has announced the closure of all primary schools in the city corporation areas of eight divisional cities.

“The class programmers of these institutes will remain closed until further instruction...and the decision has been taken considering the safety of the children”, said Senior Information Officer Mahbubur Rahman of the Primary and Mass Education Ministry.

Even, the ministry has also suspended the classes of the primary schools run by the Shishu Kalyan Trust and the learning centers operated by Bangladesh Bureau of Education Information and Statistics.
