CU closed sine die, students asked to vacate halls

The authorities of Chattogram University (CU) have closed the institution for an indefinite period amid the ongoing protest for quota reform.

The CU authorities asked the female students to vacate their dormitories by 6 pm on Wednesday and male students by 10 pm tonight.

The decision was taken at 10.30 am at an emergency syndicate meeting of the university with Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Abu Taher in the chair.
