229 platoon BGB deployed countrywide

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) was deployed countrywide to maintain law and order as Anti-discriminatory Student Movement leaders called for a 'complete shutdown' programme on Thursday. 

BGB Public Relations Officer Md Shariful Islam confirmed that 229 platoons of BGB were deployed in Dhaka and elsewhere in the country.
