Blockade at Mohakhali snaps Dhaka's rail connection with rest of the country

As part of the 'complete shutdown' programme, students involved in the quota reform movement have blocked the railway at Mohakhali and Nakhalpara in Dhaka. 

Due to the blockade, Dhaka's rail connection with the rest of the country was halted from noon on Thursday, according to Kamalapur Station Master Md Anwar Hossain. 

Anti-discriminatory Student Movement leaders called for a 'complete shutdown' programme countrywide on Thursday to protest the attack on and death of students involved in the quota reform movement.
