Two dead in Badda-Rampura clash between Police, protesters

Two were killed and more than a hundred were injured in a clash between police and students of private universities at the Badda-Rampura area of the capital on Thursday. 

The deceased were identified as Jillur Rahman, an 11th grade student of Imperial College, and Dulal Matbor, a driver. 

During the clash, Dulal Matbor was driving a HiAce car through the area. He was taken to the Farazi hospital at around noon when the duty doctor declared him dead. 

Hospital's Deputy Manager Rubel Hossain confirmed the matter to the Daily Samakal. 

He said, there was a round wound on Dulal Matbor's chest. However, he could not confirm whether the wound was from a bullet. 

He also said that about 100 students came to the hospital to receive treatment.
