Office reopens on Wednesday

The government offices are being partially reopened on Wednesday.

The office will be open from 11:00am to 3:00pm on Wednesday and Thursday. 

The government has fixed the office schedule for two days, said an office order signed by Kamruzzaman, deputy secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday afternoon.

It said that the government has scheduled all government, semi-government, autonomous and private offices from 11:00am to 3:00pm on Wednesday and Thursday.

However, no decision has yet been taken from the government regarding the reopening of the closed educational institutions across the country.

Government and private offices had general holidays from Sunday to Tuesday due to the untoward situation caused by the quota reform movement and the imposition of curfew. The previous two days, Friday and Saturday, were weekends.
