Govt working to lift curfew soon: Home minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said the government is working to lift the curfew as soon as possible. 

He made the remarks at an event at the Secretariat on Wednesday. 

"We were forced to impose curfew. We called the army. They assisted. We have already brought under control the militant and criminal uprising, BNP-Jamaat's conspiracy. Hopefully, we will bring everything under control within the next 2-4 days. Because the countrymen do not like it (the curfew)," the minister said.
