Internet to come back countrywide tonight: Palak

State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak has said broadband internet will return to residents around the country on a test basis from Wednesday night. 

"Broadband connectivity will be increased from tonight. Broadband internet will return to residents around the country on a test basis. We will observe it till tomorrow," he said. 

Palak made the remarks while speaking at the conference centre at Agargaon's BTRC Bhaban at around 4pm on Wednesday. 

Mobile data service may return next week, he added.
