RU forms support cell for students

Rajshahi University (RU) has formed a cell consisting of two assistant proctors to provide necessary support to its innocent students.

A press release issued by the public relations office has said the RU authority has urged the law-enforcing agencies and others concerned not to harass any innocent students and ensure it absolutely.

The release stated that the varsity authority has been getting many media reports of taking legal action against persons engaged in violence and other law-breaking activities related to the quota reform movement.

However, the RU administration is very sincere about the welfare of its innocent students and the protection of those.

If any innocent students face any unnecessary harassment, he or she has been advised to contact the Assistant Proctor Dr Zakir Hossain (01916-314961) and

Dr Ratan Kumar (01714-781735) for their suggestions.

In this context, the university authority will extend all possible cooperation as a whole, and it will seek the wholehearted support of all students and others concerned.
