42 HSC candidates granted bail

A court in Dhaka has granted bail to 42 HSC candidates detained at several police stations in Dhaka and elsewhere in the country in connection with violence centring the quota reform movement. 

Metropolitan Magistrate Md Rashidul Alam passed the order on Friday. 

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Joint Commissioner (Prosecution) Anisur Rahman confirmed the matter to the Daily Samakal.
