No plans to sit with govt: Coordinator Nahid

Nahid Islam, one of the key coordinators of the Anti-discrimination Student Movement, said they have no plans to sit with the government.

He made the remarks to a renowned national daily newspaper on Saturday after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday gave instructions to three Awami League leaders to sit with the coordinators to bring peace to the prevailing situation. 

The PM called for an urgent meeting on Friday night and directed AL presidium member Jahangir Kabir Nanak and Joint General Secretaries -- Mahbubul Alam Hanif and AFM Bahauddin Nasim to sit with the coordinators.
