Chase-counter chase between protesters, AL in Mirpur 10

Students supporting the Anti-discrimination Student Movement engaged in rounds of chase and counter-chase with the leaders and activists of the Awami League, Jubo League, and Chhatro League who gathered at Mirpur 10 in the capital on Sunday. 

The AL activists started gathering at around 10:30am on Sunday morning, halting traffic in the surrounding areas. At around noon, the students engaged in chase and counter-chase with them. Students were advancing at the activists from the direction of Mirpur 14 and the streets nearby. Both parties were seen throwing brickbats at each other.

Gunshots were heard at Mirpur 14. However, it could not be ascertained who fired the guns.
