95 killed in clashes countrywide

At least 95 people were killed across the country in clashes between the protesters and police and Awami League on the first day of the all-out non-cooperation movement called by the anti-discrimination student movement on Sunday for a one-point demand for the resignation of the government.

Among the victims, 6 died in Narsingdi, 8 in Feni, 8 in Laxmipur, 22 in Sirajganj with 13 policemen, 5 in Kishoreganj, 9 in capital Dhaka, 5 in Bogra, 3 in Munshiganj, 4 in Magura, 3 in Bhola, 4 in Rangpur, 3 in Pabna, 5 in Sylhet, 3 in Comilla with policemen, 2 in Sherpur. , 1 in Joypurhat, 1 in Habiganj, 1 in Keraniganj of Dhaka, 1 in Savar and 1 in Barisal.
