Dr Yunus agrees to head interim govt

Nobel laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus has agreed to be the chief adviser of the interim government proposed by coordinators of the Anti-discrimination Student Movement. 

In a video message released in the early hours of Tuesday, Nahid Hasan, one of the coordinators of the movement declared that Dr Yunus will be the chief adviser of their proposed interim government. 

According to a source, Dr Yunus has informed the students that he consents to take up the responsibility of the interim government.
