Dr Yunus returning to Bangladesh on Thursday

Nobel Laureate Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, who was chosen to serve as the head of the interim government, will return to Bangladesh on Thursday afternoon.

According to a release issued by the Yunus Centre, a flight carrying Dr Yunus will land at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 2:10pm on Thursday.

The decision to put Dr Yunus as the head of the interim government was taken in a meeting of President Mohammed Shahabuddin with chiefs of the three services and the coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement to finalize the outline of the interim government at Bangabhaban Tuesday night.
