Interim govt will be sworn in Thursday night: army chief

Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman said that the interim government, headed by Nobel Laureate Prof Muhammad Yunus, will take oath on Thursday.

The interim government is likely to be sworn in at 8:00pm on Thursday, General Waker said during a press conference Wednesday afternoon.

He also said the advisory council may have 15 members. 

The army chief hoped normalcy would return within three-four days.

Legal action would be taken against those who were involved in the crimes committed over the past few days.

The air force and navy chief are with him and they are working together, he added.
