Student politics banned in 6 universities

Within 5 days of the fall of the Awami League-led government, six universities have banned student politics in their campus.

These six universities are- Dhaka Medical College (DMC), Chattogram Medical College (CMC), Sir Salimullah Medical College, Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX), Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU). 

Students on these campuses will be expelled if evidence of their involvement with student politics is found in the future. The academic councils of these universities took such decisions on Saturday.
