Metrorail to resume operation from Saturday

The metrorail will resume operation from Saturday.

The decision came from the advisory council of the interim government.

The metro rail operation was closed following the vandalism at Mirpur-10 and Kazipara metro stations.

On December 28, 2022, the first metro rail was formally inaugurated.

Some 2.70 lakh passengers use metrorail  daily on Uttara-Motijheel route.
