Interim govt committed to hold fair and participatory elections

The chief adviser of the interim government Muhammad Yunus said that the government is committed to free, fair and participatory elections to ensure inclusive, pluralist democracy transition.

He said this by joining the third Voice of Global South Summit virtually on Saturday. 

At this time, Muhammad Yunus invited Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Bangladesh.

The Chief Adviser said that reforming the election, justice, local government, media, economy and education system is one of the tasks of the interim government. 

He also informed about they have plan to bring necessary changes at all levels of the country's state structure.
