NBR unfreezes bank accounts of Abdul Awal Mintoo

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has instructed banks to unfreeze the accounts of Abdul Awal Mintoo, his wife and son.

The Central Intelligence Cell (CIC) of the NBR instructed all banks to unfreeze their bank accounts.

The accounts were blocked for 17 years.

On August 1 in 2007, the NBR’s CIC ordered banks to freeze the accounts of Mintoo, his spouse Nasreen Awal Mintoo and his son Tabith Awal.
