Former MP Sadek Khan arrested

Police have arrested former Dhaka-13 Awami League lawmaker Sadek Khan from the capital’s West Nakhalpara on Saturday, according to a text message sent by the DMP to media this evening.

On December 30, 2018, Sadek Khan was elected to parliament from Dhaka-13 as an AL candidate. 

Sadek Khan is one of the accused in the attack on the car of former US ambassador to Bangladesh Marcia Bernicat.
