Prof Niaz Ahmed Khan to be made DU VC

Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan of Development Studies Department of Dhaka University will be appointed as its vice-chancellor.

Sources at the Ministry of Education confirmed the matter on Monday.

He is currently serving as the pro-VC and acting VC of the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB).

Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan has accomplished higher education and research at University of Oxford, University of Wales, and Asian Institute of Technology.

He has been contributing to the development of academic and operational development management in Bangladesh, Thailand and UK for a long time.
