GTV newsroom editor's body found in Hatirjheel Lake

The body of a woman was found floating in Hatirjheel Lake in Dhaka early on Wednesday. She was later pronounced dead. 

The deceased was identified as Rahanuma Sarah, 32,  a newsroom editor at the private TV channel GTV, also known as Gazi Television. 

Locals recovered her body and brought her to the emergency room of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the duty doctor declared her death. 

Confirming the matter, Hatirjheel Police Station Officer in Charge Saiful Islam said the cause of her death could not be ascertained yet.
