Hearing on Dr Yunus's leave to appeal on Monday

The Appellate Division set Monday for hearing the leave to appeal of Grameen Telecom officials, including Nobel laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus, against a High Court (HC) order rejecting the application seeking cancellation of the money laundering case against them.

An Appellate Division bench headed by Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed passed the order on Thursday.

The other six appellants are - Grameen Telecom Managing Director Nazmul Islam, Directors Ashraful Hasan, Nazneen Sultana, Md Shahjahan, Nurjahan Begum and SM Hajjatul Islam Latifi.
