Former MP Haji Salim arrested

Haji Mohammad Salim, former lawmaker of Awami League (Dhaka-7), was arrested from the capital's Bangshal area.  

Joint commissioner of the DMP (DB-North) Md Rabiul Hossain Bhuiyan confirmed the matter at around 1:15am on Monday. He said a team of DB police arrested the ex-MP. 

Meanwhile, former ward councillor Salimullah Solu was arrested from the capital's Mohammadpur area on Sunday night. He was the councillor of 29 no ward council of DNCC.
