Wahiduddin welcomes Chinese proposal to improve Bangladesh's technical education

Education Adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud has called for extending mutual cooperation in the field of education between Bangladesh and China as Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen paid a courtesy call on him at the latter's Secretariat office.

"Mutual cooperation on education should be extended," he said welcoming the Chinese proposal to improve the standard of technical education through the "Luban Workshop."

The adviser also highly praised the Chinese education system and its universities on Monday.

The Chinese envoy stressed the need to reform the education system of both Bangladesh and China to flourish their talents. 

"In this connection, Bangladesh and China can work together," he opined.

Yao Wen has sought support from Bangladesh in holding a higher education fair in Bangladesh in October next with the participation of the Chinese universities.
